Event description
A night of deep rest, meditation and vivid dreams.
Inspired by the traditional Gong Puja, the Sleep-In Gong Concert opens a space for an entire night immersed in sound.
We begin the evening together with a tea ceremony, taking time to arrive, connect, settle into the space and set our intention for the night. From there, we move through gentle practices of movement, breath and voice, preparing the body and opening the listening before the night begins. Then, lying comfortably on your mattress, you can listen, meditate, rest, dream or sleep while the gongs are played softly for 7.5 hours.
Throughout the night, four experienced gong players - Alejandro Notz, Fabio Vescarelli, Ana Sonar and Sai - will take turns playing, each bringing their own style, sensitivity and presence to one uninterrupted journey.
The ceremony will take place at Flow60, a warm and welcoming space in Zollikerberg.
From Saturday evening until Sunday morning, the vibrations of the gongs create a space for the body to release tension, the mind to settle and different states of rest, perception and dreaming to emerge.
A Gong Puja carries the depth of several gong baths within one continuous experience.
Participants may experience:
Release of physical and emotional tension Greater clarity and vivid dreams Deep rest and inner calm A stronger connection with the inner observerAs morning arrives, the gongs give way to silence, allowing time to integrate the experience before returning to daily life.
This night-long cradle of sound acts as musical medicine, reaching the innermost layers of your being and opening a space for restoration and renewal.
